About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Solutions Consultant who will engage with university user groups to raise awareness of IT services and provide consultancy for complex technical needs.  It involves Initiative Management, Solution Consulting, and Stakeholder Relationship Management while working closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • To actively collaborate with all University IT teams to build strong working relationships and gain a deep understanding of the services they offer. 
  • Take ownership of understanding client needs, gathering data, conducting analysis, and guiding delivery teams to resolve issues. 
  • Keep a comprehensive and deep understanding of the University’s IT services, technology strategies, and roadmaps. 


Who we are looking for
We’re looking for people who are confident in engaging with all IT teams across the University to establish strong working relationships and gain a deep understanding of the services they provide.

You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in information systems, computer science or engineering to at least Bachelor level, or a combination of at least 10 years’ equivalent mix of education and relevant experience.   
  • A wide range of knowledge and experience of IT technologies and trends, including virtualization, networks, storage, hardware, and security. 
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale, cross-organisational initiatives involving multiple stakeholders in complex technical environments. 
  • A proven ability to apply an analytical approach to problem solving.

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the University. In the case the selected candidate doesn't have a valid Working with Children Check, they will be able to apply for the WWCC as part of the initial onboarding procedures.
